| Administrative Court Case Management System |
|
A key task of the MCCA2 project will be to provide a case management system for the Administrative Court, ensuring that the IT system it develops for the new court is compatible with the Integrated Case Management and Information System (lCMIS) now operational in Albanian courthouses.
On one hand, the IT system would enable efficiency in the internal management of the work flow within the Court, and on the other, facilitate access to public information from the court's activity as well generate statistics about case loads, backlog, time to resolution, and other elements of the court's work.
The administrative case management system of the Administrative Court will feature a complete set of standard, ready-to-deploy, and easy-to-customize case management functions, as defined by international standards, with source books and manuals for each function.
These functions include:
(1) case creation and participant indexing,
(2) case event register,
(3) scheduling,
(4) calendaring,
(5) document generation/processing,
(6) hearings,
(7) disposition,
(8) execution and compliance,
(9) case closing,
(10) file, document, and property management,
(11) security and data integrity, and
(12) management/statistical reports.

The fourth MCCA2 quarterly newsletter is published
By clicking on the title “Project newsletter”, under “Publications” on the left of the screen, you can read the fourth issue of “Monitor”, the MCCA2 quarterly newsletter, which covers the key activities of the program in the period between November 1, 2009 and January 31, 2010.
